After a tight first quarter Cathedral stormed out to a 21-0 lead in the 2nd quarter behind quarterback Andrew Tovar. Cathedral WRs Renard Bell and Jamire Calvin both had excellent runs after making a catch for touchdowns.
The Santa Margarita Eagles defeated the Dorsey Dons 33-13 in a hard hitting battle between intersectional foes. Both teams came into the game undefeated.
Santa Margarita jumped out to the early 6-0 lead. The Eagles offense was led by a balanced attack featuring Stanford commit quarterback KJ Costello and running back Trey Green.

D1 bound quarterbacks in attendance included Michigan commit Wilton Speight, Hart quarterback Brady White, Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya and Oaks Christian signal caller Brandon Dawkins.

This time around though, the pennant is all to themselves, as the Dons overcame a rusty start and busted loose with a big 6-run fifth inning en route to a 10-0 shutout of Fremont, which shared the title with them last year, and has yet to notch its first win of the season.
The stars were out at the 2013 B2G Elite 16 7v7 Tournament at Fullerton College over the weekend. The 16 teams featured some of the best local student athletes. In the end, B2G 5-Star took home the crown.
B2G 5-Star was led under center by Hart quarterback Brady White. Quarterback guru Steve Clarkson has referred to White as the next Joe Namath.
White linked up with fellow Hart teammate and standout receiver Trent Irwin on several big plays throughout the tournament. The two clearly have a great chemistry and should wreak havoc on opposing defenses next season.
