Day One at Steve Clarkson's Quarterback Retreat in San Diego featured some of the most talented quarterbacks in the country. D1 bound quarterbacks in attendance included Michigan commit Wilton Speight, Hart quarterback Brady White, Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya and Oaks Christian signal caller Brandon Dawkins.
The two-day event is taking place at Coronado High School under pristine weather conditions.
Other quarterbacks attending include Cathedral quarterback M.C. Poe, Mater Dei's Jack Lowary, Washington commit Tate Martell and Nordhoff's Austin Santino.
In addition to the high school talent on hand, there are several youngsters that are being groomed to become future star quarterbacks under the direction of the premiere quarterback coach in the country, Steve Clarkson. Two potential stars to keep an eye out for are 10-year old Dylan Eaton and 9-year old Travis Endicott, who both appear destined for success.

Student athletes that develop under Clarkson's tutelage have a clear advantage when it comes to quarterback play. Clarkson's unique ability to command respect and complete attention while maintaining a light hearted fun atmosphere serves as an effective teaching method for educators in any field.
Brady White '15 QB Highlights
Clarkson and his staff provide a comprehensive approach to quarterbacking that incorporates the physical skills necessary to excel with the critical mental aspects required to play a daunting position like quarterback.
The morning began with the quarterbacks dividing into age groups to work on footwork drills, dropping back in the pocket with weight bags and working on various routes with receivers. Clarkson and his team of coaches are well versed on the intricacies of the position and effectively instruct the young gun-slingers to use proper technique.
Fresh off landing several scholarship offers in the last week, Gardena Serra receiver Jordan Lasley is in attendance to catch balls and help the quarterbacks hone their skills. Serra teammate and freshman standout Brandon Burton, who just landed offers from Florida State and USC and Dorsey standout David Williams are some of the other receivers attending.
UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley and USC quarterback Max Wittek assisted the younger quarterbacks and offered beneficial words of wisdom.
Michigan commit Drake Harris was in attendance to work out with future college teammate Wilton Speight. The dynamic pass and catch combo should serve the Wolverines well in the future.
