When it came to Steve Clarkson’s Field Generals Quarterback Camp over the weekend, the list had no shortage of talent. From soon-to-be-seniors to the youth, there were plenty of quarterbacks honing their skills and opening up eyes for us here at CollegeLevelAthletes.com.
The Field Generals camp offered up some extremely talented quarterbacks such as Jack Lowary, J.J. Brooks, Troy Dixon, Sandy Plashkes and more.
Of the older quarterbacks that were in attendance, the more recognized names were David Sills (2015 USC commit), Wilton Speight, Brandon Dawkins, Brady White and M.C. Poe.
Day Two at Steve Clarkson's Field Generals Quarterback Camp provided the athletes with an opportunity to apply the skills and techniques they learned the day before.
It was a pristine sunny day at Cathedral High School and the quarterbacks made the most of the optimal conditions. In addition to the several training stations, there was a Madden Truck on site for the quarterbacks to play video game football to improve decision making and engage in friendly competition.

Day one featured Notre Dame quarterback recruit Brandon Dawkins from Oaks Christian High School, along with highly-touted 2014 QB Wilton Speight from Richmond, Virginia (Collegiate School). USC commit David Sills was also in attendance along with several other top QB recruits.
The state of the USC Trojans and their 2013 recruiting class has come under fire from the fan base after their loss to the Oregon Ducks, their third of the season. The following day, safety Max Redfield de-committed from the Trojans and the speculation quickly followed.
Was this the beginning of a fallout? Are more recruits to follow? Could some of the anchors of the Trojans’ recruiting class also be looking at other schools?
Well, we were able to talk to defensive tackle commit Kenny Bigelow about where he stands and if the Trojan faithful should be worried.
Another year, another disappointing loss to the Stanford Cardinal football team for the Men of Troy. Unfortunately, the USC Trojans walked out with a loss last Saturday that dropped the potential title contenders down the ranks. It was a tough loss that left heartbreak in everyone from the fans to the coaches to the players.
