The Concord De La Salle Spartans took care of business Saturday night, rolling to a convincing 35-10 victory over the Servite Friars.

The Spartans seized control of the game from the outset, nearly taking the opening handoff to the house. Senior bulldozing back John Velasco capped off the drive with a short touchdown run to give De La Salle a 7-0 lead.

Servite muffed the ensuing kickoff, setting De La Salle up with great field position. The Spartans cashed in on the miscue, extending the lead to 14-0 on Velasco's second score of the evening.
