UW Commit Jahmel Taylor Awaits

The Marshall Eagles of Pasadena scored a sweet victory over Notre Dame of Riverside thanks to a stellar 39-point performance from senior Davin Hampton in the opening round of the CIFSS 4A playoffs.

The scoring outburst was nothing new for Hampton who has been dropping buckets consistently all season. Marshall will likely need a similar output in their next contest.

The Eagles will face a formidable challenge in top seed Pacific Hills on Friday night at Pilibos High School. The Bruins enter the contest with a 20-4 record and feature D1 bound stars Jahmel Taylor and Marcus Jackson.

CLA will be on hand to catch the action and see which team can book a spot in the quarterfinals.
