Joe Mixon exploded last week for 6 total touchdowns against Castro Valley. The senior running back catapulted himself into the national recruiting conversation earlier this year and hasn't looked back since. The St. Francis Golden Knights took care of business Thursday night with an impressive 49-20 home victory over the La Mirada Matadores. The star of the game was senior running back Joe Mudie who scored four touchdowns.

St. Francis jumped out to an early 6-0 lead with a short touchdown run by Mudie. La Mirada responded with a touchdown drive of their own that featured several nice catches from talented wide receiver Dallis Todd. Matadores junior quarterback Kevin Dillman linked up with Todd on a sweet pitch and catch to give La Mirada a 7-6 lead late in the first quarter.
