The 18 quarterbacks competing for the top prize at the Elite 11 finally got the opportunity to display their abilities in competitive play as 7ON pool play at The Opening kicked off Tuesday afternoon.
Heading into the day, Purdue commit David Blough ranked first in the Elite 11 standings and was placed on Team Superbad along with quarterbacks Stephen Collier and David Cornwell. Joining the signal callers on Superbad are SPARQ champion Speedy Noil, speedster Johnnie Dixon, Jalen Tabor, recent Cal commit Jaleel Wadood and many more D1 bound ballers.
The 2013 crop of Elite 11 finalists continued to hone their skills in Beaverton, Oregon on Sunday. Of the 18 quarterbacks attending, University School's Sean White is the only yet to commit. White balled out on Sunday and should make his decision by the end of summer.
The 2013 Elite 11 in Beaverton, Oregon features 18 of the best young quarterbacks in the country. Since 2011, former Super Bowl winning quarterback and ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer has served as head coach. Under Dilfer's tutelage, the future college level quarterbacks are afforded the opportunity to measure their skills against their peers and glean invaluable insight from of a successful former NFL signal caller.
