Kilton Anderson
Position: QB/P
Class: 2014
Measurements: 6’3” 205 lbs
Whether on tape or on paper, Kilton Anderson’s talents shine through. It’s easy to see that as a passer, he has very good technique. His footwork is solid, with strides that are very comfortable and not compressed, or too long. He keeps the ball held at chest level to make sure he doesn’t use any unnecessary motions in his throw. He goes from triangle at the chest, straight back and gets a good release; nothing elongated.
The best part about Kilton’s play is his sneaky athleticism. He has the ability to be a dual threat quarterback and has shown off his running ability. He carried the ball 129 times for 839 yards and 28 touchdowns to go along with his 1,288 passing yards and 17 touchdowns. All while being taken out of a majority of his games early.
As a senior, he’ll look to become even more proficient as a passer and work on perfecting every aspect of his game. He has the technique, he’ll need to improve on his completion percentage, but that comes with time.
