La Costa Canyon vs. Lincoln (47-43) - The Mavericks outlasted Lincoln High School to win the Division II CIF Southern Regional Basketball Finals. La Costa advances to Sacramento for the CIF State Basketball Championship on 3/24. Tyrell Robinson (Lincoln HS) led all scorers with 20 points, and finished with 6 rebounds. Erick Magnuson finished with 11 pts and six boards for the Mavericks, while Matt Shrigley had 9 points.
Lincoln's Tyree Robinson, who has received football scholarship offers from UCLA and SDSU, finished with 12 points. Tyrell (Robinson) has also received collegiate offers, and holds basketball scholarship offers from UCLA and SDSU, while several other schools have shown interest.
