Mission League leaders Chaminade fought back from a 7-3 halftime deficit to overcome a rugged Loyola team. Loyola dominated a well coached first half with running back Daniel Tolbert scoring a touchdown on Loyola's opening drive.

Loyola almost went ahead by two touchdowns but Chaminade's defense held firm on an intense 4th and 1 inside the red zone. However, with under a minute left in the first half, quarterback Edward Sias led Chaminade on an impressive two-minute drill that resulted in a field goal.

After halftime Chaminade had the momentum and never looked back. Sias completed sharp passes to star receiver Dymond Lee and a touchdown to Brandyn Lee.

Chaminade's running game came alive after the break with Okalnai Langi capping a long drive with a touchdown.

Loyola quarterback Tre Polamalu tried to lead a Loyola comeback but an interception deep in Chaminade territory cost them the momentum.

Chaminade freshman sensation TJ Pledger finally sealed the game for the defending State Champions on a 35-yard scrambling run.
