Earlier this HS basketball season, Marcus LoVett Jr. went absolutely nuts with 48 points against Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks). LoVett is considered one of the top 2015 guard prospects in all of high school basketball and will be a prized recruit for many top NCAA hoop programs in the near future.
LoVett Jr. recently left Providence High School and will enroll at the Opportunities for Learning in Pasadena this semester.
From the Burbank Leader: "Earlier this month, LoVett, the reigning All-Area Boys' Basketball Player of the Year and Burbank Leader Male Athlete of the Year, left the team and didn't compete for the Pioneers in Wednesday's 72-66 loss to Lancaster Desert Christian in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division V-AA playoffs."
