CLA spoke with future Texas A&M Aggies football player Sebastian LaRue. Several days after the Santa Monica High School student-athlete signed his National Letter of Intent to play college football, you could sense that he's going to feel at home in College Station.

"There's a lot of excitement. All over my Twitter and on blogs. they're just raving about me signing with them. I'm glad the fan base is excited about me and I'm excited to go in and capitalize off their excitement," LaRue told CLA Sports.

Today, Sebastian LaRue can rest easy knowing that he's made the right decision for his future. The recent Texas A&M Aggies commit is excited about his future in College Station, Texas.

"I went out there (Texas A&M) once before, so my trip made everything more familiar. I talked to the coaches and liked their whole vibe. They're a players' coaching staff and that's really what I look for," he told CLA Sports today.

A few weeks ago, CLA reported on Sebastian LaRue's decommitment from USC.

The LSU Tigers have officially joined the party. From a zero star-rating at the beginning of the 2012 HS football season, to the first five-star rated recruit before the end of the year.

On Thursday evening, LSU didn't hesitate to extend an offer to Jackson. Adoree' has recently received official offers from the likes of USC, Florida, Miami, Texas A&M and several other top BCS programs.

The best high school football athletes were on display at the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The game was played at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Many of the recruits in the game have yet to declare their college choice and this game helped them gain exposure to college coaches and scouts.

Televised live on the NFL Network the Semper Fi All-American Bowl was a battle of defenses. With little time to prepare and develop offensive chemistry, both teams struggled to move the ball consistently.

The 2012 California high school football season will conclude Friday and Saturday at Home Depot Center in Carson with five championship bowl games. Every team left standing has certainly earned their way.

The primetime matchup this year is the Open Division Championship, featuring the perennial powerhouse Concord De La Salle Spartans and the Corona Centennial Huskies. It will be the rubber match between the two schools as they split bowl contests in 2007 and 2008.

Now that the 2012 NCAA football regular season is complete, it’s time to honor the most outstanding players on the field this year. USC quarterback Matt Barkley entered 2012 the Heisman favorite but faltered early.

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith grabbed the reigns as early season favorite with a great September. After Smith and West Virginia lost a few games, Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein became the presumed frontrunner before a disappointing loss to Baylor.
