The first few weeks of the season have been great. My team is on a 2 game win streak and I'm leading the team in receptions and receiving yards. I'm also tied for receiving touchdowns. Arizona State, Colorado & Fresno State are a few of the schools that I have talked to so far. Hopefully one of them offers me by the end of the season.... Our week 3 matchup is vs Elsinore. They are a tough team, but I know we have the talent to beat them.

As class of 2012 high school recruits are opening fall practices for their respective colleges, a new class of prospects enter the recruiting ranks. This year's class of high school seniors now look to make their mark on the HS football recruiting landscape. Practices have begun for the 2012 HS football season and teams are eagerly awaiting week one matchups.

Viane Talamaivao stands 6'2" 295. The first thing you notice about Viane isn't his size, but his demeanor. Talamaivao is as cool as the other side of the pillow, but don't let the nice guy fool you. As one of the top offensive lineman recruits in the class of 2014, Talamaivao gets nasty in the trenches and will receive attention from schools throughout the country before the end of his junior football season.

Recently, College Level Athletes spoke with Talamaivao and he offered insight into what's been happening on the summer football recruiting trail.

College Level Athletes arrived at Cal Lutheran early Saturday afternoon and witnessed an excellent display of coaching and technique, in addition to a few of the country's most coveted HS ballers. The 2012 B2G Sports Elite Football Camp at Cal Lutheran University featured some of the top high school football recruits in the nation.

CLA Sports caught up with Damore'ea Stringfellow (WR/2013) at the 2012 LA Nike Sparq Football Camp at Cerritos College. Stringfellow currently has offers from Florida, Michigan, Washington, Nebraska, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State and Washington State, to name a few.

The talent pool of student-athletes spread throughout California’s high schools is no mystery. However, West Coast preps seem to lack the national exposure granted to other sports recruits in U.S. States throughout the South and Midwest, such as Texas, Ohio, Alabama, Louisiana and Florida.
