The state champion Gardena Serra Cavaliers football team began spring practice Tuesday. There were several college coaches in attendance to observe the talent laden Cavaliers in action.
Serra receiver Jordan Lasley has been busy in recent weeks balling out on the 7v7 circuit. Coach Shah from Utah was impressed enough with Lasley's skills to offer the 2014 wideout a scholarship this afternoon.

"I talked to him after practice and he said I can come in and play receiver or corner but that I look more natural at wide receiver. I really like the competitive atmosphere out there. I wanna take an official visit," Lasley told CLA Sports.
Lasley has already landed offers from Colorado State, San Diego State and San Jose State. CLA expects the talented playmaker to reel in more offers in the near future.
Spring Recruiting Video Update: Serra Cavaliers
A few programs he's interested in are Boise State, Houston and UCLA.
"Definitely Boise cause Jalen's going there and they run a fast paced offense and pass almost every down," said Lasley.
Serra quarterback Jalen Greene has already committed to Boise State.
Lasley spoke with coaches from Florida State and Tennessee as well.
"Had a long talk with FSU and Tennessee coaches today and I think ACC and SEC schools are gonna start offering soon," said Lasley.
Lasley was not the only Cavalier to receive a scholarship offer. Freshman teammate Brandon Burton is a rising star for Serra and college coaches are already taking notice as Utah offered Burton earlier today.
The 2016 prospect will undoubtedly land more offers in the future and should be a beast in the Cavaliers receiving corps and possibly secondary this upcoming season.
Notes: 2015 DL Rasheem Green looked impressive and has clearly been in the weight room during the off-season. Once colleges take a look at Rasheem Green up close and personal, he'll have offers coming in waves. He is huge and has gotten significantly taller since last season.
Another quality looking recruit was 2016 LB Blake Walls, who had 2 interceptions in the Cavs' CIF State Championship victory last December. Walls is a solid 6'1 205 and will surely be one to watch this season for Serra.
Adoree' Jackson: CLA Year in Review Highlights
Florida State is very high on Adoree' Jackson, clearly. Coach Tim Brewster had the chance to watch Adoree' at track practice, as well. Jackson has expressed that he wants to run track at the collegiate level, and the Seminoles have a track and field tradition that dates back years.
