Standout Serra junior defensive back Adoree' Jackson is a special football player. Jackson simply makes winning plays, often making difficult tackles look routine. Whether it's on offense, defense or special teams, Adoree' Knows. Adoree' is a key contributor on this year’s undefeated Gardena Serra Cavaliers squad that has high hopes for a perfect season.
This week’s matchup presents a difficult challenge as the Cavaliers host the undefeated and highly ranked Narbonne Gauchos. The Serra defense, led by Jackson and company, will have their hands full trying to slow down the Gauchos high powered offense.
CLA will be on the sidelines to catch the hard hitting action Friday night. CLA had the opportunity to touch base with Adoree' as game day approaches. Jackson is wise beyond his years and has the right mindset heading into the showdown.
“For me, it’s just a game and we gotta come out and perform. You tend to do more than you need to. We need to stay humble and stay together,” said Jackson.
With so many potential D1 recruits on the field, there will surely be a lot of scouts evaluating the talent from both schools. For his part, Jackson is solely focused on the task at hand.
“I’ve just been focusing this week on my team and this game. We’re really focusing on the game. I haven’t really been talking to any coaches or anything like that. Just getting prepared mentally and physically,” said Jackson.
Several big time programs are clamoring for Adoree Jackson’s services, but they will have to wait another year. Adoree already has numerous offers on the table and should have his pick of the litter. Jackson is certainly well worth the wait and is primed for a standout performance against Narbonne.
