Practice this week has been a little off but we still maintain the mental focus for the game against El Rancho. This is the first time that Diamond Ranch will play El Rancho. Watching film, we noticed that their quarterback is one of their main threats, which made practice a lot of more getting used to the option and quarterback run.

This week, a lot is dependent on our starting defensive line with Noah Garcia, Zory McThomas, Josh Buchholz, and myself. All we got to do is HIT the quarterback every play & we'll shut the option off & let our DB's go to work on the passing game. So far, our mentality is to make history. Since our school opened up in the 1990's, there has never been a football class going 2-0 in the beginning of the season. We plan to make history this week & ball out to show them how we play. All we have to do is play Smart, Fast & Hard. No questions asked.
