Josh's Blog: Diamond Ranch Week One - Postgame Entry

Josh Buchholz (DE/2014) 6'4" 240 Junior Ready for 2012 HS Football

Since freshman year of high school I've been scouted by over 47 different schools, including some Pac-12 schools. Over the summer, my team and I worked every day non-stop to prepare for the season. I worked on building my speed, strength and agility to fly off the ball on defense and make tackles, and get off the ball and make pancakes on offense. So far, the hard work has paid off tremendously, as it has showed in week one against Chino.

In week one against Chino, I played like a baller on both sides of the ball. On defense I ran around and made tackles off the edge. On offense I made pancakes on mostly every play, putting fear into the opponents eyes. This upcoming week I'm looking forward to doubling my stats compared to what I had this past week on both sides the ball.

At Diamond Ranch High School, we have a rare defense starting with the d-line that consists of myself, Kammy Delp (DT/2014, #84), Vontress Atkins (DL/2013, #65), and Carl Bryan (DE/2014, #56). Up front we're big and fast, and one of the best. But don't forget about our great and athletic backs of 2014. Will Bryan (RB/2014, #1), Justin Berry (RB/2014, #29), Marcus Brisco (#5) and Allen Salguero (#3). Our defense is based on the fact that we aim to shut people out. Our offensive line is big up front and ready for any thing coming our way!
