Josh Buchholz (DE/2014): Pac-12 Schools Showing Interest

Diamond Ranch Junior Heating Up

Diamond Ranch HS defensive end Josh Buchholz (DE/2014) will be on many college recruiting lists next season. Buchholz stands 6'4" 250 and displays the type of athleticism that college coaches desire.

Arizona State has already started to show interest in Buchholz. "A lot of interest from ASU. They said I play like the d-end that they're looking for and to just keep up what I'm doing and they will have no problem taking me," the junior Buchholz told CLA Sports today.

Several Pac-12 schools have also shown interest in Buchholz. "Washington, University of Arizona, UCLA, Oregon State, New Mexico State... Those are just some of the schools," says the Diamond Ranch junior.

Buchholz helped Diamond Ranch finish with a 4-2 record in league and 7-4 overall last season. He finished last season with 19 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries.

Head Coach Roddy Layton has several returning impact players on both sides of the ball next HS football season. Look for Josh Buchholz and Diamond Ranch to continue to gain well-deserved attention from college coaches and recruiters in the near future.
