Actor Omar Benson Miller is a Los Angeles area native and knows first-hand of the storied history of the LA Watts Summer Games. Miller enjoyed the Boy's Basketball Finals action at California State University Dominguez Hills on Saturday and shared his thoughts with CollegeLevelAthletes.com during halftime of the Compton vs. Hart game.
Compton took home the championship of the Gold Division bracket and were able to easily take care of the Hart High School Indians. Hart arrived at the championship game after an upset of Westchester in overtime during last weekend's action. Compton was led by a triple threat that featured juniors Kyron Cartwright, Isaiah Bailey and Iziahiah Sweeney.
Cartwright took home MVP honors and led an athletic bunch that should be exciting to watch once the 2012-2013 high school hoop season kicks off.
