Here's an interview with 2012 LA Watts Summer Games Football Chair, Jose "Coco" Jarin. CLA Sports caught up with Jarin during action at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday. The boy's high school basketball finals featured championship games in the Gold and Silver brackets.
Compton was able to take home the crown with a win over Hart in the Gold Division, while University outlasted Huntington Park to win the Silver Division title. Jarin shared insight with CLA and gave his thoughts on the overall organization of the 2012 LAWSG, and also shared his views on the future of the games with respect to the 7on7 high school football tournament.
This year's LAWSG featured 16 high school football teams from across the CIF Southern Section. Along with Football Co-Chair Kenny Lawler, Jarin is ready to assemble another solid team to ensure the 2013 LAWSG are a great success.
