What a difference a day makes for Oaks Christian QB Brandon Dawkins. After winning the long ball toss yesterday, news broke that Notre Dame starting quarterback Everett Golson had left the program. With a scholarship offer from Notre Dame in hand, Dawkins is destined for South Bend.

Marques Rodgers is a dynamic player on the football field, and the senior also excels on the track. Rodgers helped lead the Gardena Serra Cavaliers to the 2012 CIF State Football Championship, and did so in dramatic fashion. Rodgers scored three touchdowns in the first quarter of Serra's state title victory. Watch.

Jeremy Kelly is the younger brother of UW signee Jermaine Kelly Jr. and he's someone I feel will have schools lining up very shortly. Kelly is a hard-worker and has gotten much more polished since the 2012 season. The younger Kelly has also grown a few inches and is a solid 6'2 with a long frame and should continue to grow.

Derik "DJ" Calhoun is a man amongst boys on the field. Calhoun has reeled in 17 official offers from a few of nations' top college football programs. Calhoun has offers from the likes of USC, UCLA, Boise State, Arizona State, Cal, Miami and Washington. Look for Calhoun to gain more national recognition as he enters his senior season at El Cerrito (CA).
