Watch a few highlights from the 2013 Salesian Mustangs football practice. Notre Dame was on hand to watch Marquis Ware and Jamardre Cobb. Ware and Cobb are two of the most coveted recruits on the West coast in the class of 2014. Marquis Ware is one of the most heralded recruits in the nation this year.
Salesian HS quarterback Jihad Vercher (QB/2013) was just offered by the Idaho Vandals. Vercher threw for 3 TD passes vs Pasadena. Vercher hit UCLA commit Jermaine Kelly Jr. on two TD passes, including a 72 yard bomb in the opening quarter. The duo later hooked up for a score after Vercher drilled Kelly in the numbers from 20 yards out with a rocket propelled missile.
