Despite being the thick of things with the 2014 recruiting class cycle, the class of 2015 is beginning to emerge and some of the top players are beginning to get their names out in the spotlight. One of those names is Keisean Lucier-South, the 6-foot-6, 215 lbs. defensive end from Orange (CA.) Lutheran.

The relentless pass-rusher already boasts offers from most of the Pac-12, Miami (Fl.), Tennessee and more. Plus, he's starting to get overall recognition as one of the top players in the nation. He's getting recognition as a five-star athlete as well.

"I was so excited. I never thought that I was going to be a five-star," said Lucier-South. It's not a surprise to some, though, as Keisean has performed well during his time at Lutheran and some camps over the summer.

Of all the teams that have offered, none are really standing out. He does have a childhood favorite, though.

"Michigan," Lucier-South said. "A Michigan offer would be a dream come true. It would be a big honor for me." That doesn't mean that he is a sure-fire bet to join the Wolverines. "If I get that offer from Michigan, I'm not going to commit right away. I want to check on my other offers as well."

When it comes to recruiting, Keisean is not too focused on it, "Not right now, it's too early right now."

That means his focus is on the football field. "Our goal for our team is to win state and try to be the best. For me, I'm trying to work on my strength and gain more weight. Right now I'm 215 lbs. and I want to gain more weight."

"Right now, I have to bring that leadership to my team. Especially to the defense because we don't have a lot of returning starters from last year, so I have to be a leader."

For a guy who influences his game off of Aldon Smith and the legendary Lawrence Taylor, Lucier-South is definitely poised to continue gaining himself the praise and recognition as a top player in the nation.
