CLA Coaches Corner: Introducing Coach "Coco" Jarin

Coaches Corner: Football is in the Air

Football is in the air and it’s time to open the tool box.

Coaches, we've asked our players to be ready for the new season and before you know it will be knocking on our doorstep. Are we prepared for a season of change? Are we ready to get micro and create the best environment for our student athletes to create the best versions of themselves in the classroom and on the playing field? Today I open my toolbox and bring out the tools needed to create the optimal student-athlete.

We all have the tools for our trade. Position coaches get micro with movement needed for the trade at hand. Coordinators manage your building blocks and create a fun FAST atmosphere. Finally, head coaches have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) that becomes a true part of your fibers as you grow your program.

It’s time to say goodbye to the free nights and relaxed days out by the pool, the occasional drives down to San Diego to visit family, and most of all some precious time away from the wife. As a coach I welcome the smell of football and really look forward to passing on the tools that will make our young student-athletes better versions of themselves.

Yours in Football and Health.
