Max Browne: Future Trojan

Browne Leads Skyline (WA) to 4-0

While Matt Barkley and the USC Trojans work on getting back into the race for the championship, the future Trojan from Skyline High School in Sammamish, Washington is showing why he is rated as high as he is.

In four games so far, Max Browne has completed 84 of 119 (71%) passes for 1,374 yards, 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Just as important, his Spartans are a perfect 4-0.

Browne, who committed to the Trojans over the offseason, is ideal for what USC does on offense already. He has the ability to make all of the throws with accuracy and a strong arm. He’s got the size (6’5”, 215) with the frame to fill out even more.

Whenever Browne arrives on campus for the Trojans (expected early enrollee), he can push to be Barkley’s replacement almost immediately. We’ll keep you updated as the season goes on for Browne and the Spartans.
