Watch the complete game highlights from Gardena Serra's 26-23 victory of Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) on Friday night in Sherman Oaks, CA. The Cavaliers were held scoreless entering the second half, with Notre Dame leading the game 3-0.
The second half broke open the scoring floodgates for both schools. Serra capitalized on a forced fumble by Malik Roberson on the opening kickoff of the half, and Cavaliers running back Marques Rodgers was able to skate to the endzone on a 28-yard jaunt after Serra took over possession.
The Cavaliers will head on to play Long Beach Poly next week in Southern California in what should be the top matchup in California high school football, and possibly the nation.
