Los Angeles – The Los Angeles Watts Summer Games take place June 9, June 10 and June 16 and will feature high school athletes competing in 10 tournaments in 6 team sports.

The 2012 Games will feature boys and girls basketball tournaments, a 7-on-7 passing league football tournament, boys and girls lacrosse tournaments, boys and girls soccer tournaments, girls softball tournament, and boys and girls volleyball tournaments.

The LA Watts Summer Games have a long and storied tradition dating back to 1968. The birth of the Games is one of the most positive outcomes of the Watts riots of 1965.
