Day Two at Steve Clarkson Quarterback Retreat at Coronado High in San Diego provided the talented quarterbacks the opportunity to build on the experience and knowledge gleaned from Day One.
Once again, the weather conditions were optimal for Steve Clarkson and his quality team of instructors to teach the young signal callers the skills and techniques necessary to be a successful quarterback.
Day One at Steve Clarkson's Quarterback Retreat in San Diego featured some of the most talented quarterbacks in the country. D1 bound quarterbacks in attendance included Michigan commit Wilton Speight, Hart quarterback Brady White, Chaminade quarterback Brad Kaaya and Oaks Christian signal caller Brandon Dawkins.
The two-day event is taking place at Coronado High School under pristine weather conditions.
Eight local high school teams competed in the 1st Annual Canyon Cowboys Spring Passing Tournament at Canyon High Saturday. In the inaugural event, Canyon head coach Rich Gutierrez and his staff succeeded in providing the student athletes a quality platform to showcase their abilities.
There were several college level athletes participating as each team is loaded with talent. Schools in attendance included host Canyon, Oaks Christian, Westlake, Notre Dame, Valencia, Saugus, Buena and Eastside.

Notable players who stood out today were Naijiel Hale (DB/2014) from St. John Bosco, Brady White (QB/2015) out of Newhall's Hart High School, along with Serra's Dwight Williams and Mater Dei rising '14 DB recruit Jonathan Lockett.
Today's opening day of the NFA 7on7 passing tournament at Newbury Park High School was well worth the journey. Several of the country's top 7on7 teams were on display. The Gamebreakers, who are coached by former USC Trojan and NFL defensive lineman Chris Claiborne, in addition to the Snoop Dogg All-Stars, B2G Sports and Ground Zero were a few of the top teams who competed on Saturday.
The early games brought excitement to a crowd full of spectators that included parents, fans, players and media, but things got a bit more exciting once the stadium lights were turned on.
When it came to Steve Clarkson’s Field Generals Quarterback Camp over the weekend, the list had no shortage of talent. From soon-to-be-seniors to the youth, there were plenty of quarterbacks honing their skills and opening up eyes for us here at CollegeLevelAthletes.com.
The Field Generals camp offered up some extremely talented quarterbacks such as Jack Lowary, J.J. Brooks, Troy Dixon, Sandy Plashkes and more.
Of the older quarterbacks that were in attendance, the more recognized names were David Sills (2015 USC commit), Wilton Speight, Brandon Dawkins, Brady White and M.C. Poe.

It was a pristine sunny day at Cathedral High School and the quarterbacks made the most of the optimal conditions. In addition to the several training stations, there was a Madden Truck on site for the quarterbacks to play video game football to improve decision making and engage in friendly competition.
